«In the middle – Contra la pared»

Participo en nuevo proyecto con el Taller Fyns Grafiske Vaerksted, localizado en Odense, Dinamarca del cual acabo de entrar como miembro recientemente. El proyecto Correspondence lo forman diversos grupos de seis personas más o menos, con el fin de crear una imagen gráfica en conjunto. El tema de este año es «In the middle», «En el centro». El objetivo es colaborar con artistas de otros países realizando en un grabado en común y reenviándonoslos entre los componentes del grupo. Debe quedar patente que el grabado ha cruzado fronteras, por ejemplo los sellos postales formarán parte de la imagen impresa. Enviada mi imagen, los demás continuarán la idea inicial o bien la del último grabador. Un proyecto interesante y divertido al mismo tiempo.

I am taking part in a new project with the atelier Fyns Grafiske Vaerksted, located in Odense, Denmark which I just became a member recently. I started a Correspondence project with them what involves a group of usually 6 people who have to create a print all together. We are working around the subject «in the middle». The aim is to collaborate with others artist from another countries doing prints together and sending it to each other. It should be very clear that the print has crossed borders, for example with used stamps. I will send my print to them and the others will print on the same paper following the idea of the first engraver (usually the leader of the group) or the one just before me. I find it interesting and funny to the same time.
